I bought the Duktig Coffee/Tea set at my local Ikea and will paint it myself as a present for my niece. It's also made of porcelain but a more sturdy than bone china.

I just tossed out a drained toothpaste tube and remembered something else for a fun "how-to". If you have the AG mini dolls, the caps from toothpaste tubes make good drinking glasses for them. Matching plates can be made from the plastic lids off milk bottles. Paint them so they match. The lids off large prescription bottles, if flat, make serving plates. If they're fairly tall, "frost" them with acryllic paint and they become cakes.

Yes, the Ikea stuff isn't bad, my niece also has the pots and when she was little she even had the ironing board and wooden iron. She loved to do the ironing. Wish my sister had taught her to do it in real so she could do mine
And as you said - the price is very good.

Oh, the next time I'm at my sisters I have to take pictures of the Ikea doll bed to show you how I changed into a Kirsten bed.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I love that set; unfortunately, I just checked and they don't have that set available at the Seattle store (they don't even carry the dishes). I'll have to check eBay and see if someone's selling it. I like the idea of how you paint it yourself.
